Fat Freezing Treatment Information
Whilst liposuction is a great treatment, the cost, risks and recovery mean it’s not for everyone. Also known as cryolipolysis or Coolsculpting™, fat freezing is an easy and non-invasive alternative. Specialist handpieces are placed over the treatment areas whilst you lie on the couch. The unwanted fat is slowly cooled to -8°C for 70 minutes which is enough to kill the fat cells but nothing else. The damaged fat cells are cleared over the following weeks in the normal way, through the lymphatic system.

The handpieces on the Cooltech system covers an area approximately the size of a hand but the surrounding area will also see benefit. Unlike rival systems such as Coolsculpting™, Cooltech has 2 hand pieces which means that multiple treatments can be performed at the same time saving you precious time.
Areas suitable for treatment include: tummy, love handles, flanks, inner or outer thighs.
When purchasing multiple treatments, you can re-treat the same area or treat another – your therapist will advise you during your free of charge consultation. Approximately 3 treatments to the same area are required for best results.
