ASKINOLOGY is the first to introduce the UK to the “LED light mask”. Low level LED lights emit 3 different wavelengths, each doing good for your skin with absolutely no downtime or risk.

With your therapists help you can choose between red, blue or both lights:
Blue light (415nm)
This is perfect for those with active acne or oily acne prone skin. Exposed to light at this wavelength, the p. acnes bacteria self-destruct. In addition, oil production is controlled to further improve outbreaks. Perfect as part of an acne programme or for those with a special event coming up that they don’t want ruined with an unexpected and unwelcome guest! Repeat the treatment for best results.
Red light (630nm)
Light at 630nm increases cellular energy, stimulates fibroblasts for new collagen and elastin and stimulates blood flow to increase oxygen delivery to the skin. The increase blood flow and lymphatic drainage also helps to wash those toxins away.
Near infra red (830nm)
This wavelength is always on regardless of which of the others you choose. The most deeply penetrating of the three wavelengths, the near infra red accelerates healing and has a powerful anti-inflammatory action. This is useful for those with inflammatory conditions such as rosacea and eczema but can also useful for pigmentation problems. Near infra red is great for skin that has just had treatment and also aids the penetration of topical products which makes it a great addition to your ASKINOLOGY facial or peel.
