You can choose from very gentle skin peels in our facial bar with no downtime that give a superficial exfoliation all the way to advanced peels that treat deeper problems such as longstanding pigmentation and acne scarring.

Skin peels are quick and easy ways to give your skin a refresh. A gentle peel is just a more effective exfoliation to leave your skin smoother, brighter and glowing.
For deep concerns such as pigmentation, ageing or sun damage or acne scars, you’ll need a deeper peel which can leave your skin dry and flaky for a few days. All peels work best when supported by active products before and after treatment.
Peels are commonly used to treat dull or ageing skin, acne and acne scars, sun damage & pigmentation.
Consultations with our therapists are free of charge. Our doctor and nurse have access to medical prescription creams and more aggressive treatment for deeper problems such as pigmentation and acne scarring.

Gentle Peel Facials
Think of a luxury facial that will do more than just a fancy face massage… these more advanced treatments are gentle peels without the peeling! Specially selected for your skin type and concerns, they have no associated downtime but give your skin the extra help it needs.
There are 3 to choose from:
- Ageing – Stimulates fibroblasts to increase collagen production resulting in fresher looking skin.
- Acne – Deep pore cleansing and exfoliating with anti-microbial properties to reduce breakouts.
- Pigmentation – A special blend of acids to target discolouration, ideally to be used alongside our specialist creams.

ZO 3 Step Peel®
The ZO 3 Step Peel contains TCA acid and so can penetrate the skin more deeply and treat a wider range of skin concerns: pigmentation, acne, scarring, large pores, texture, lines & wrinkles and general ageing.
The general rule is that the deeper the acid penetrates, the more downtime but the better the results. Your treatment is personalised to you and the strength can be adjusted for your situation. A gentle treatment might result in dryness and flaking for 2-3 days whilst a more aggressive one could be up to a week.
We recommend preparing the skin with products for at least a couple of weeks first to ensure an even and more effective penetration of the peel giving improved results.
Prices include a high strength retinol sachet & a full size take home product. Treatment with Dr or nurse includes 3 x prescription products to prepare the skin. If with therapist, 4 prescription are included.

NEED TO KNOW
All new clients must have a consultation to discuss possible treatment and assess suitability, even if they have had treatment before elsewhere. Gentle Peel Facials do not require any preparation and can be performed the same day.
Advanced and deeper peels always require a consultation first and skin preparation is recommended. They cannot be performed on the same day as consultation.
We do not treat those who:
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have a recent suntan (regardless of how it was achieved)
We ask for a £50 refundable deposit to book your appointment. This deposit is retained in the event of a “no show” or late cancellation/reschedule (within 48 working hrs).
Monday appointments
These appointments require any changes to be made by Thursday at the latest, to avoid losing the £50 deposit.

Skin Peels Frequently Asked Questions
Skin peels treat a wide range of problems and can be suitable for all skin types. At consultation, your skin will be assessed and all treatment options discussed.
Very gentle peels will feel tingly after a few minutes – the deeper the peel, the stronger the sensation.
Depending on the depth of the peel, improvements can be seen within days (deeper peels will take longer to recover from). Although all peels will have best results after a course, this is particularly true of lighter peels.
Results from a skin peel treatment will depend on several factors including: the strength of peel, number of treatments, condition of the skin and state of ageing (lifestyle and genetics). Results from deeper peels will last for many months.
Gentle peels are extremely safe. Stronger peels and darker skins have increased risks but with expert knowledge and training, even these peels are still very safe.
