About Fotona VectorLift®
VectorLift® is a non-surgical treatment specifically tailored to tighten the forehead, brow and upper lids. If you suffer with heavy or dropping eyebrows and sagging upper eye lids, a VectorLift is a great option, suitable for all ages, sexes and skin types.
What is Fotona VectorLift® Lift?
As we age and suffer from the effects of the sun, the delicate skin on our foreheads and around our eyes loses collagen and elastin. This results in a gradual drop of the eyebrows, gathering of skin around the upper eyelid and general deterioration of the skin texture and quality with lines and wrinkles.
VectorLift® is a 3 step treatment using a powerful Fotona Er:YAG laser in Smooth Mode to rejuvenate and lift your brows and rejuvenate the skin on the upper eyelid and forehead. Normally, this type of Laser means significant downtime but using the special Smooth mode, the energy is delivered in a more gentle way meaning great results without lengthy downtime!

What to expect in a VectorLift® treatment
Preparation
We remove your make up from the area to be treated and apply an aesthetic cream which is left on for 15 minutes. This numbs the skin and prepares for a comfortable treatment.
VectorLift® Treatment
Laser energy is applied to the skin on your forehead, all the way from upper eye lids to the hair line. If pairing with a SmoothEye Eye Lift treatment, the whole eye area will be included for maximum eye and brow lift and rejuvenation.
After treatment
You’ll feel the numbness from the cream for an hour or two after treatment but no discomfort. The skin will look pink/red like a mild sunburn and so you’ll probably want to head straight home.
The redness lasts 24-48 hours before is bank to normal but you can wear makeup if needed. Going into work the next day should be fine unless you have something really important.
Over the next few days your skin might feel tight or dry. It’s possible that you might have a little flaking but all should be back to normal 5-7 days after treatment.
VectorLift® Results
You can expect to start seeing changes from around 3 weeks after treatment as new collagen is produced, with full results developing after 3 months.
A minimum of 3 treatments, 3-6 weeks apart are recommended to maximise results which should last 12-18 months. Consider maintenance treatments twice a year to keep your eyes looking as fresh as possible.
Combination Treatment
Fotona VectorLift® and SmoothEye are fantastic additions to Botox treatment around the eyes. Whilst Botox smooths and protects the skin, SmoothEye improves the quality of the skin itself.

A VectorLift® course gives best results

We recommend a minimum of 3 treatments performed 3-6 weeks apart. After this, expect maintenance to be a treatment once or twice a year. If you can’t keep this up, don’t worry! You will still have the benefit of any and every treatment you have.

Need to know
All new clients must have a consultation to discuss possible treatment and assess suitability, even if they have had treatment before elsewhere, this can be done online.
If you have a darker skin, you will need a test patch before starting treatment.
We do not treat those who are pregnant.
We ask for a £50 refundable deposit to book your appointment. This deposit is retained in the event of a “no show” or late cancellation/reschedule (within 48 working hrs).
Monday appointments
These appointments require any changes to be made by Thursday at the latest, to avoid losing the £50 deposit.

We apply aesthetic cream for 15 minutes before your treatment to ensure that you’re comfortable. Your treatment should not hurt but if you are uncomfortable, your therapist will adjust the settings to suit you.
We can treat all skin colours, ages and sexes! If you have a darker skin, you will need a test patch first.
Anyone wanting tighter, brighter rejufvenated skin around the eyes is suitable for treatment.
You should see some change immediately after treatment. New collagen should start to become apparent from 3 weeks after treatment will best results at 3 months. Repeat the treatment 3-6 weeks apart as part of a course to improve and extend results. A course of at least 3 treatments is always recommended.
Results from a single treatment will last several weeks. Once a course of at least 3 treatments are performed, we expect results to last 12-18 months but expect to require maintenance treatments once/twice a year.
Although there are risks with any laser treatment, the chance of any significant problem is extremely small. Expect to have a warm and/or red face for 24-48 hours and possible dryness for a couple of days. Depending on the strength of your treatment, you may gently flake for a few days.
