SmoothEye Eye Lift is a specialised non-surgical rejuvenating treatment specifically designed for the delicate eye area. It tightens, smooths and brightens, all with minimal downtime! This treatment is suitable for all – all skin types, ages and sexes.
What is Fotona SmoothEye Eye Lift?
The skin around your eyes is the thinnest on your body. This sensitive area bears the full brunt of the sun’s rays over the years leading to premature aging, lines and wrinkles, crepey thinned skin and sagging.
SmoothEye is a treatment delivered by the Fotona Dynamis Max, using its powerful Er:YAG laser to rejuvenate and lift this delicate area. Normally, this type of Laser means significant downtime but using the special Smooth mode, the energy is delivered in a more gentle way meaning great results without lengthy downtime!
What to expect in a SmoothEye treatment
Preparation
We remove your make up from the area to be treated and apply an aesthetic cream which is left on for 15 minutes. This numbs the skin and prepares for a comfortable treatment.
SmoothEye Treatment
Laser energy is applied to the skin around your eyes and eye lids and just as you feel the heat increasing, we move on to the next area. In total, each eye is passed over 6 times before the anaesthetic cream is removed.
After treatment
You’ll feel the numbness from the cream for an hour or two after treatment but no discomfort. The skin will look pink/red like a mild sunburn and so you’ll probably want to head straight home.
The redness lasts 24-48 hours before is bank to normal but you can wear makeup if needed. Going into work the next day should be fine unless you have something really important.
Over the next few days your skin might feel tight or dry. It’s possible that you might have a little flaking but all should be back to normal 5-7 days after treatment.
SmoothEye Results
You should start to notice changes a week or two after treatment with full results 4-6 weeks later – it takes time for the new collagen and elastin to form. A minimum of 3 treatments, 3-6 weeks apart are recommended to maximise results. Consider maintenance treatments twice a year to keep your eyes looking as fresh as possible.

Fotona SmoothEye is a fantastic addition to Botox treatment around the eyes. Whilst Botox smooths and protects the skin, SmoothEye improves the quality of the skin itself.

A SmoothEye Eye Lift course gives best results
You should see a visible difference 4-6 weeks after your SmoothEye treatment – a tighter, lifted eye area with improved skin quality. Best results are always seen with a course of treatment.
We recommend a minimum of 3 treatments performed 3-6 weeks apart. After this, expect maintenance to be a treatment once or twice a year. If you can’t keep this up, don’t worry! You will still have the benefit of any and every treatment you have.

Need to know
All new clients must have a consultation to discuss possible treatment and assess suitability, even if they have had treatment before elsewhere, this can be done online.
If you have a darker skin, you will need a test patch before starting treatment.
We do not treat those who are pregnant.
We ask for a £50 refundable deposit to book your appointment. This deposit is retained in the event of a “no show” or late cancellation/reschedule (within 48 working hrs).
Monday appointments
These appointments require any changes to be made by Thursday at the latest, to avoid losing the £50 deposit.

We apply aesthetic cream for 15 minutes before your treatment to ensure that you’re comfortable. Your treatment should not hurt but if you are uncomfortable, your therapist will adjust the settings to suit you.
We can treat all skin colours, ages and sexes! If you have a darker skin, you will need a test patch first.
Anyone wanting tighter, brighter rejufvenated skin around the eyes is suitable for treatment.
Results are seen 4-6 weeks after treatment. Repeat the treatment 3-6 weeks apart as part of a course to improve and extend results. A course of at least 3 treatments is always recommended.
Results from a single treatment will last several weeks. Once a course of at least 3 treatments are performed, we expect results to last 12-18 months but expect to require maintenance treatments once/twice a year.
Although there are risks with any laser treatment, the chance of any significant problem is extremely small. Expect to have a warm and/or red face for up to 48 hours and dryness for a couple of days. Depending on the strength of your treatment, you may gently flake for a few days.
