Polynucleotides fall into the category of injectable treatments generally called skin boosters. Polynucleotides are the building blocks of DNA and stimulate cells to behave differently resulting in plumper, smoother, more hydrated and more youthful skin.
For best results, 3 treatments are required, 1 month apart. 2 mls are injected at each visit and results should last 6-9 months but to maintain best results, consider a top up 1-2 times a year.
PhilART® Polynucleotides
PhilART® Polynucleotides are the latest addition to the suite of anti-ageing injectables. They are not fillers (made of hyaluronic acid) but are polynucleotides – the building blocks of DNA. Rather than filling out depressions or create curves, they stimulate collagen production, cell regeneration and hydration. They also neutralise free radicals that cause damage to our cells. The result is skin that is all round more youthful, radiant, hydrated with better texture and fewer fine lines and wrinkles.
Polynucleotides are particularly popular around the eyes where skin is thin and fragile and can be used alongside Botox and fillers for best results. Other popular areas include the hands and neck.
For best results, 3 treatments are recommended , 1 month apart. To maintain results, expect to have a top up every 6 months or so.

Dr Askari has been injecting for 20 years and has been a national and international trainer and speaker, training other doctors and nurses in advanced techniques. His clinics are always busy and so you’ll probably need to book in advance to get in to see him! His clinics are on Monday afternoons and Friday mornings.
